Platform Automation & MCP Integration
The engine behind the HMS platform. This group covers all automated workflows, AI/ML orchestration, bot agents, and integration middleware that connects HMS to external systems — EHRs, clearinghouses, pharmacies, and QuickBooks. It includes the MCP (Model Context Protocol) automation layer, ML compliance gate, and the API webhooks that keep every part of the platform talking to each other.

MCP/Automation Terminology Consolidation (04/30): Renamed all AI/bot-facing documentation to MCP and automation terminology; removed stale mirror files; normalized operational guides across the workspace.
ML Compliance Gate — Full Implementation (05/02): Built compliance_gate.py with a 5-step gate (schema validation → RBAC → high-risk escalation → PHI masking → audit emit). Updated features.py with ml_inference() and get_ml_compliance_status(). Updated integration_task_orchestrator.py to pre-check compliance gate before every ML task dispatch; blocked tasks receive ml_priority=blocked.
